My Classmate

Tim is one of my college classmates. In fact, this is not the first time we become classmates. We had known each other before in cram school, but he still just a nodding acquaintance of mine and I never talked with him. Although we have had one more year getting along, I confess that I understand him no more than a new friend.
Quiet, clever and a bit of cunning is my first impression on him. I was too shy to chat with new friends, so there is no conversation between us on the school first day.
The first time we contact is on the internet, he called me by MSN. After talking for a while, I found he is interesting and talkative. Furthermore, he also invited me to join more groups of our apartment as well as he is already in swim team and activity organization.
He likes swimming very much. Swimming seems his born ability, he stays in water with ease just like on the ground. On account of swimming team, he associates with many people who are also enthusiastic with swim. No matter the temperature is pretty low in winter; he still can find friends going swimming together. He never interrupts going to swimming pool at least once a week.
The other hobby of him is riding bicycle. I often see him doing this exercise on the campus or nearby school at a gallop and saying hello to me. He is almost familiar with every place in school even around the school.
Tim has great influence on me and also his passion of sports, activities and everything in his life. Enjoy our life, concerning our general affairs are what I learn from him. He encourages me to join more class exercises and show my talents. Because of him, I make more new friends and become outgoing. I’m glad to have such a gentle, find friend.
