Picture Homework
A climb
One day, these six people tried to challenge themselves, so they decided to climb the highest mountain which has a steepest cliff. The lead of the team is a painter. When he ran out of his strength and don’t want to move any steps, he begins to draw the beautiful scene they saw at the highest position. There are several color pens straggleing near him and a lunch box with sandwiches and sausages which looks so delicious beside the pens. And his bag is placed further. The one after painter is a reindeer. He is taking a rest and drinking a cup of a tea while observing two lovely red flowers over its head. The third and fourth people are seat themselves on the rocks. They look carefree and leisure. It seems world is under their foot, no things can trouble them. By the side of the two leisure people is a blue man. There is no expression on his face. He just look at the distant horizon. At the bottom of line is a person with a heavy bag. It is nearly can’t see him at the top, because he is far from the other people. It seems he just has climbed a short lap from beginning. Challenge self isn’t an easy thing, but they really have done it.

Oral report
Our oral report about English class is a short introduction of Antigone. Our part is from P7-P9
This part is a dialogue between Creon and chorus. Last part is said Creon ask some to watch the corpus. No one could disobey the command and bury the corpus. Creon asked someone younger to do the work. I thing It must because younger is strong and he also could run fast to catch the criminal.
Creon consider only a fool love death, but he also said that hope of profit often drives men to ruin not for her own profit, but for her own beloved brother. Therefore, she dare to rebel the rule.

Last Friday
I woke up at 9 o’clock this morning. When I think I need to write lots of homework and read books, my breast is totally down. It’s terrible for me this morning and afternoon because I need to endure a large pressure. My mind turned a little better when I went to eat dinner. Because my honey teach me how to ride motorcycle, we went around 林口. And then, I went to be a private teacher. When I teach the student, I can forget the annoyance. After that, my mind becomes much better, so we went to night market. Luckily, we acquire two dolls so that I feel very happy. After back to school, we watched TV together. For me, it’s a wonderful time. But my good mood was broken, because my honey says something about the game which I really hate to heart. Although he keep with me all day and make me happy, but I still want to say “blockhead” to him.

Give me power
I feel stressful this semester. There are always much homework, tests and activities every week. So many thing have started from the beginning of the school time. I really want to take a rest. I really want to have my own time to do anything I want to do. I really want to be a real college student. I always have a stomachache when I consider I still have a lot work to do at every night. I wish all hard-pressed the things will get over to the end of this semester.

Firefly
Last Saturday I have a special experience with the little light bugs. I have never seen so many fireflies. These insects are more accurately called "lightning beetles" because they are neither flies nor true bugs. They are like stars in the field, forests and bush woods. When I capture a lightning beetles in my hand, It seems I get a hope, wish and dream in my hand. I can control and dominate it.

How to go to see a doctor in Taiwan
Outline
Introduction:Where should we go when we are sick.
Main text
1 make an appointment
2 go to the clinic
3 entering the doctor’s room
4 get a prescription
Conclusion:How to get well sooner
One day when you wake up find that you feel a little uncomfortable and have a sore throat. What will you do? I consider the best idea is going to see a doctor. In Taiwan, we have two choices to choose. One is going to western medical hospital or to see a traditional Chinese medicine doctor.
First, no matter ways we choose, we had better to make an appointment with the doctor. It was more convenient and faster for us now, because we can do it through on-line registration and by phone now.
Second, we just should go to the clinic in time. Making an appointment let us don’t waste time to wait other patients. When we get into the clinic, the nurse would require us “Is this your first visit?” and ask to fill out some forms. Then we can take a rest and wait until our name is called.
Third, we can enter the doctor’s room and tell him about our problem and then he will also ask us some questions. “What symptoms do you have?”” When did this happen or when did you find this” “How long have you had this problem? ”” Are you allergic to some medicine” some kind like these. After that he may take a simple check-up. If it is necessary, the doctor would like you to have a special examination.
After this process, Doctor would make a diagnosis and give treatment according your description and the results of the examination
Finally, we would have a prescription and doctor would advise everything you should careful about yourself. Go to find the pharmacist and pay for medication. Some medicine maybe needs to be paid for by yourself, the HMO doesn't cover it. The pharmacist would prepare your medicine and explain how to take the medicine.
After going to see a doctor, we are able to get well sooner. Eating nutritious food and getting enough sleep are also very important. Knowing how to go to see a doctor in Taiwan is the quickest way to get rid of your problem.

My first work
After going to the university, I spend much more money than before on daily life. I am not living with my family but in school’s dormitory. I have to think what I should on every diet and spend my money and time on it. Wearing free is the another reason why I spend more money. I can wear leisure clothes to go to school not uniform. I don’t want to gain my family’s burden. I intend to find a job and earn money by myself. My first job is teaching math as a private teacher of a senior high school’s girl.

My Classmate
Tim is one of my college classmates. In fact, this is not the first time we become classmates. We had known each other before in cram school, but he still just a nodding acquaintance of mine and I never talked with him. Although we have had one more year getting along, I confess that I understand him no more than a new friend.
Quiet, clever and a bit of cunning is my first impression on him. I was too shy to chat with new friends, so there is no conversation between us on the school first day.
The first time we contact is on the internet, he called me by MSN. After talking for a while, I found he is interesting and talkative. Furthermore, he also invited me to join more groups of our apartment as well as he is already in swim team and activity organization.
He likes swimming very much. Swimming seems his born ability, he stays in water with ease just like on the ground. On account of swimming team, he associates with many people who are also enthusiastic with swim. No matter the temperature is pretty low in winter; he still can find friends going swimming together. He never interrupts going to swimming pool at least once a week.
The other hobby of him is riding bicycle. I often see him doing this exercise on the campus or nearby school at a gallop and saying hello to me. He is almost familiar with every place in school even around the school.
Tim has great influence on me and also his passion of sports, activities and everything in his life. Enjoy our life, concerning our general affairs are what I learn from him. He encourages me to join more class exercises and show my talents. Because of him, I make more new friends and become outgoing. I’m glad to have such a gentle, find friend.

Discovery WULAY
I took a trip to Wulai yesterday. Wulai is known for its famous hot spring and Atayal Tribe culture. Unlike most springs with thick smell of sulfur, the hot spring in Wulai is weak base of sodium bicarbonate with no color clear quality. I had tried the local specialty - millet rice cake. Wulai hand-made millet rice cake focuses on its various tastes. I also ate the roast mountain pork and cherry sausage. That mouth feel is really extremely delicious. I thought I do come back next time Pictures from:http://www.wulia.tpc.gov.tw/

SONNET XXIII By W. Shakespeare
SONNET XXIII As an unperfect actor on the stage,Who with his fear is put besides his part,Or some fierce thing replete with too much rage,Whose strength's abundance weakens his own heart,So I fear of trust, forget to sayThe perfect ceremony of love's rite,And in mine own love's strength seems to decay,O'ercharg'd with burden of mine own love's might,O let my looks then be the eloquence,And dumb presagers of my speaking breast,Who plead for love, and look for recompense,More than that tongue that more hath more express'dO learn to read what silent love hath writ,To hear with eyes belongs to love's fine wit.(W. Shakespeare)

Treasures of the World's Cultures
Treasures of the World's Cultures: The British Museum after 250 Years
As we look back at the course of the development of human race over the millennia, we cannot help but sense and admire the great artistic and cultural achievements of our ancestors. Only by maintaining an attitude of pondering, tracing, and cherishing the vast cultural heritage of humanity, combined with a sense of adventure for exploration, can we experience the subtleties and grandeur of the wisdom of great cultures around the world, as well as the stimulating inspiration and creativity in the process of cultural interaction. By shuttling through the corridors of history and retracing the steps of civilizations, we can further appreciate the brilliance of the cultural legacy of humanity. Art and artifacts from different regions and periods allow us to understand more fully the multi-faceted and diverse cultures of the world, which lies at the heart of the goal the National Palace Museum attempts to achieve in hosting this special exhibition.
Founded in 1753, the British Museum is renowned throughout the world for its extensive collection of more than seven million objects that covers the legacy of humanity from almost every region and every period over two million years of history. Marking the first collaboration between the National Palace Museum and the British Museum, the exhibition Treasures of the World's Cultures: The British Museum after 250 Years has been two years in the making, and it is intended to offer the audiences in Taiwan a rare opportunity to appreciate cultural treasures from around the world without embarking on journeys abroad.
This exhibition is divided into the following thirteen sections:
Glimpses of Morning Glory: Dawning of Human Civilizations
Fusion and Transformation: the Diverse Cultures of Mesopotamia
In Pursuit of Immortality: the Artistic Spirit of Ancient Egyptian Culture
Land of the Gods: Ancient Greek Civilization and Art
Reaching the Four Corners: Facets of Art in the Roman Empire
Regional Charms: Artistic Styles in Early Europe
The Realm of Christianity: Europe in the Middle Ages
Revisiting the Classical Age: the Renaissance and Modern Europe
Tranquil and Profound: Cultural Aspects of South and East Asia
Brilliance and Magnificence: the Islamic World
Mystery and Inspiration: the Allure of African Cultures
Pearls of the Pacific: the Island Cultures of Oceania
Expansive and Diverse: Unraveling the Cultures of the Americas
The selection of 271 works on view provides glimpses at the cultural legacy of humanity from the Paleolithic Age up to the 20th century that stretches from Europe, Middle East, and Asia to Oceania, the Americas, and Africa. The exhibition includes works of sculpture and painting, as well as historical and cultural artifacts in a wide range of materials, such as precious objects, glass, gold, silver, bronze, stone, wood, and ceramic. Such a diverse and pluralistic display not only offers audiences in Taiwan a cultural and artistic feast for the eyes, it also provides a first-hand understanding of the developments in world cultures as well as the glorious achievements of humanity over the ages.
Being able to examine in Taipei this group of artistic and cultural treasures from the British Museum represents a door opened by the National Palace Museum onto the cultures of the world that is unavailable in any textbook of history. It is hoped that this door will inspire audiences in Taiwan a new perspective of the great cultures of humanity.
My idea:
Last Friday I made a visit to this exhibition. There were a lot people in the museum entrance, so we had to line up to buy ticket. In this exhibition I realize many different civilizations around world.

I got lost!
Today, I plan to watch football games by our football team of department. I know it takes place in riverbank park which is under the 華江 bridge. However, when I jump off bus happily and then get into the park, I can't find the softball field. I walk along the river anxiously and try hard to find the place. After one hour walking, I still in the park and also see no one I know.I couldn't bear the passionate sun and hot weather. I call out to my friend ultimately. He drives car to save me from the riverbank park. Then I find them all in the opposite riverbank park.

Cowork in English writing class
Today is a cold rainy day. I bought a cute dog at the night market. That cost me 5000 dollars. I like the dog very much. I give him a hug every night. However, the dog is so naughty! It likes to bite my slippers, my magazine, my bed, and so on. It’s so annoying me that I can’t get rid of it. I try to teach him, but in vain. The only idea that crosses in my mind is to send it to the dog’s doctor club.
